Nostalgic metal-heads will rejoice with word of a new 18" Eddie - Iron Maiden's album cover gracing zombie mascot. Plans call for the first release to be based on the artwork of Maiden's album "Somewhere In Time". This futuristic Eddie will star as both a motion activated figure with sound ($35-$40) and as a band signed statue. Look for both this fall.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Ok, just to clear it up, I am not pissed off over the company that obtained the license, but the size and price point on it!

That has officially closed the door to me adding any more Eddie's to my desk at work! I can't have that size (and price) of a figure here and be comfortable with it!

I am sorry that it couldn't have continued with McFarlane and seen more 6" scaled figures come to market. But dammit - that size, that price, and from "Somewhere in Time". Fuckers - now I may officially have to become a short term hater of "that company that shall not be named".

Ok, I'm officially with you on this subject, Megalithanod!!!! I have the 18" 'Number of the Beast' from Art Asylum, but it's not like I have room for lots of 18" figures. I too would have liked to see that line continue in a 6" size
(I personally was waiting for 'Live after Death'
with baited breath)I love that cover.

Wow, I'm not even an IM fan but I've wanted a SIT Eddie. Agreed though, the only 18'' figure I ever wanted and cared to buy was Ash. Well at least we can gaze at the pics longingly...
